Here at Material Things we are committed to providing our customers with an efficient and stress-free delivery service, which is why we offer delivery within our local area on all our products. 

As an independent family business, all our furniture products are delivered by our own teams. Our delivery options are as follows (figures shown for £3000 spend):

Disposal

When we deliver your new furniture we can collect your old furniture and dispose of it.  

Sofa cost £50*

Chair cost £25*

Any items we are collecting for disposal that are too large to be taken out of your property must be dismantled by you before our delivery team arrives.  Please note: we cannot be responsible for damage to your property from items being removed from your property for disposal. 

For that little extra peace of mind, our team can undertake access checks (within 20 miles) at your property to ensure your new furniture will fit, so there’s no difficulties on delivery day. If your door frames are small or you live in a flat where access to your home is difficult, our team will do their best to overcome these obstacles*.  

We also carry out free measure checks on curtains, blinds and carpets (within 20 miles). Once you’ve ordered your beautiful window dressings and flooring, a member of our team will carry out the final check and then process the order leaving you to relax and wait for the professional fit to be carried out – nothing is too much trouble*! 

If needed, we will dispose of your old bed, suites, carpets and curtains and have your new furniture laid out in your designated room ready for you to enjoy*.
