A matching lift and rise recliner helps people with limited ability to improve their quality of life without having compromise on design furniture. Rechargeable battery packs mean there are no trailing electric leads.

The THEMSE range from himolla Polstermöbel features comfortable sofas and chairs which provide you with wonderful relaxation. Choose between fixed suites or reclining furniture – the backrest and leg rest can be reclined on the latter. Whether you wish to sit upright, lean back and watch television or lie down in comfort: the suites can be easily adjusted, either electrically or manually, and guarantee pure relaxation.

Ergonomic sofas and chairs with a customised design

Furniture from the THEMSE range is available as individual chairs and as two- or three-seater sofas. You have plenty of choice when it comes to the cover for your upholstered suite – choose between numerous different fabrics and leathers in a range of colours and qualities. You can also choose between two frame and armrest designs – either in wood or upholstered and covered with fabric or leather.


All THEMSE sofas are available with a fixed or reclining seat. The reclining versions come with adjustable backrests and leg rests, so that you can sit back and relax in an upright, reclined or horizontal position. The functional sofas can be adjusted by hand using the gas spring mechanism or, if they are fitted with a motor, by pressing a button to move the backrest and leg rest into the desired position. The electric himolla sofas are delivered with an easy-to-use charging station. The external battery is available in silver or anthracite.

Tangible differences in seat hardnesses are therefore possible (favourite seat). Any resulting permanent stretching of the cover materials within the customary tolerances therefore does not constitute grounds for complaint. • We also wish to expressly point out that upholstered elements of different sizes and padding elements equipped with special functions may demonstrate different degrees of seat hardness for design reasons.
