Checkatrade information for Material Things

Fellow of the A.M.U

Each AMUSF (Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers) Upholsterer or Soft Furnisher will have had their work, premises and insurances thoroughly vetted at the time of application to ensure they operate to a standard that maintains the integrity of the craft. This process is repeated periodically by visits from AMUSF Directors and Staff to ensure those high standards are maintained. Only AMUSF members can display the crest to give re-assurance to the consumer that they will be dealing with somebody who manages their business to a high standard. The Association does have a complaints and mediation procedure so that in those rare instances where there is a dispute, we can help to mediate between the two parties to help them reach an agreeable solution.
